Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows that she noticed on the lawn prompted her to work for months on a technique, which in contrast did not portray the selected object onto canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a re-creation of itself in which the painting transforms into the medium for it's own painterly interpretation, especially when the subject is living or perishable items for example, like humans or fruit. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral however the photograph is what is left. Painting and photography are closely connected to form two-dimensional flat surface which is trompe-l'oeil. Certain places three dimensions are seen, for example, near the eye or the hair. At times, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional world around them, allowing them to interact within this self-created world. The lines between performance, installation, photography and painting are thus dissolved.
