Kirsten Vangsness has been an American actor since the early 1990s. Her most notable role was as Penelope Garcia, a police procedural on the television program Criminal Minds. Though she's mostly known as a TV actor Vangsness has also had a few smaller roles in films. Her first appearance was in showbiz in the year 1998.
