Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into a family in South London. She is English as well as her father is Nigerian. She attended The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She earned her BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was on stage in several productions as a student such as the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Over the past few years, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's first film role was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. After that, she played Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside playing Ollie. In 2008, she got Bambi's character on ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in the series 2 and 3. Madekwe also starred as the main character on How to lose friends & betray people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport in ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for two weeks on The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the ABC drama series Revenge during two seasons. In May 2013 that she would quit the show after completing an appearance in the first season of the third. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 until the year 2016. In June 2012, she was married to her long-time love, actor Iddo Goldberg. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also had a role alongside her on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for the Gemini Award, comes from the large Hamilton family. The four brothers she had were present as well: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's siblings, who are all sportsmen, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley had never been able to actually walk. She would dance. So when she was just 2 1/2 years old, she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance immediately after that. Ashley participated in the top divisions for jazz, tap hip hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe until she graduated high school. She won the top soloist at each of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
